Do I have a risk by serving food?

Whether you serve a free breakfast consisting of items that do not need to be cooked or have a full kitchen we have you covered, when it comes to food borne illness or contamination. Not only can we cover the contamination we can also cover food spoilage. Any time you serve food it opens you up to those types of claims.

Unfortunately the market is ever changing. We are seeing more companies offering flat deductibles as we continue to go through years without catastrophic wind/hail claims. Standard is still 1-2% deductibles. The percentage is based off of the property insurance value. There are many companies that offer buy back programs though to lower the amount you’re responsible at the time of a claim.

The last two years these coverages have been trending. We have many options with different limits and coverages for these. Please discuss what your concerns are in regards to this coverage so we can customize coverage for you on your policy.

Is Carbon Monoxide Injury/Death covered on a standard policy?

If the policy is written on a “Special” form it should be covered unless specifically excluded. If excluded we can discuss buying the coverage back with the underwriter,
